AV facilities for external events

AV is booked as part of the room booking process for your event. Please consider the following when making a booking and ensure that your contact within Informatics is aware of your full requirements well in advance.

We do not normally provide support for external events but if you would like a demonstration of the AV facilities prior to your event, please let your admin contact within Informatics know and they can arrange this for you during normal working hours. Guidelines for admin staff on how to book external events from an IT perspective are available.

The University's Information Services division (IS) can provide IT facilities for conferences and events when these have been organised through Edinburgh First.

Please note that there is a restriction on external AV contractors that can be used to help with events. Please contact Support for further details.
