Projects in Informatics: disambiguation page
There are several types of project within informatics:
Computing Projects
Development work and planned operational work carried out by the computing team of more than a few days effort is generally managed as specific projects. Projects are requested, reviewed and prioritised as part of producing the goals for the next year in the annual computing plan, which is approved by the Computing Strategy Group (CSG). Projects are (re)prioritised and (re)assigned to appropriate computing staff on a quarterly basis.
Taught Course Projects
Student projects are managed using the DPMT system, administered by their respective projects coordinators. Examples are the UG4 Honours project and MSc Dissertation.
- Information for students on project courses is available on the course listing and DPMT websites.
