Using Zoom

From June 2020 the University has supported the use of Zoom, but with caveats, including:

  • No sensitive, confidential or personally-identifiable University material should be discussed;
  • Only use it if none of the preferred solutions (Teams, Collaborate, Skype for Business) will do - or if Zoom has been mandated by some external body;
  • You must use Zoom Enterprise;
  • You must sign in using your @ed.ac.uk account;
  • It's preferably for non-teaching, non-formal use only.
