Using non-DICE services and facilities for Honours/MSc Projects

If you do need to use a non-DICE service or facility, such as your own laptop, or cloud-based services for your project work (development or writeup) make sure you regularly back up your work and make sure that you are not going to be dependent on these right up to the submission deadline. There is no guarantee that failure of the service or equipment you are using will be accepted as a deadline extension. The amount of local computing support available for projects developed on non-DICE services or equipment is very limited, if any, and you will need to ensure you have other sources of help.

Currently (2024/25) submission of Honours and MSc projects is via DICE login. Ensure you are familiar with your DICE password before the submission date, as accounts become suspended due to inactivity. You may need to verify your code works on a DICE machine before submission - refer to official project guidelines.
