Responsibility for maintaining web content

The Computing staff will maintain and update the base web server technology, and give reasonable notice of changes which are likely to require modification of any content. They will also provide documentation and guidance where necessary to assist users with any essential conversion.

However, the responsibility for maintenance of web content, including static pages, and CGI scripts, remains with the creator. This responsibility includes a commitment to update the content as necessary to continue functioning when the underlying service is upgraded - for example, to newer versions of the PHP, Perl, OS etc.
