Shared PGR Office Space Guide
This office is a shared space designed to provide users with a suitable place to study, work, and collaborate. Everyone using the room is responsible for helping to keep it clean, safe, and welcoming.
This space is equipped with full HD monitors and Usb-C monitors fully compatible with all the devices provided by the Informatics Computing Support Team.

HP E24m G4 FHD USB-C Monitor
The HP E24m G4 FHD USB-C is a 23.8-inch Full HD monitor designed for connecting laptops and other compatible devices.
- USB-C can provide up to 65 W of laptop charging.
- DisplayPort, HDMI and USB-C video connectivity.
- Built-in USB hub for connecting compatible peripherals.
- Integrated 5 MP webcam for video calls.
- Built-in microphones for online meetings and calls.
- Integrated speakers.
- Adjustable stand with height, tilt, swivel and pivot adjustment for comfortable use.
Using the USB- C Monitors
- Connect your laptop to the monitor using the supplied USB-C cable where available.
- The monitor should automatically detect a compatible USB-C connection.
- Your laptop may begin charging through the USB-C connection.
- Connect peripherals such as a keyboard or mouse to the monitor's USB ports if required.
- Adjust the monitor height and angle to a comfortable viewing position.
- When finished, disconnect your device carefully and return the cable neatly.
- Please do not pull the monitor cables or force connectors into the ports.
Using the HDMI Monitors
- Connect your laptop to the monitor using the supplied hdmi cable where available.
- The monitor should automatically detect a compatible connection.
- Adjust the monitor height and angle to a comfortable viewing position.
- When finished, disconnect your device carefully and return the cable neatly.
- Please do not pull the monitor cables or force connectors into the ports.
Internet Connectivity
All devices provided by the Informatics Computing Support Team that support wireless connectivity must use the university's eduroam wireless network.
Wired internet connections are not provided by default.
If a university-provided device requires a wired internet connection, you must submit a request through the Informatics Computing Support Team support form.
Power
Each desk is equipped with a power extension with 4-5 power sockets.
