Appleton Tower network ports

Within Appleton Tower, connections to the wired network are made via network ports which are arranged in offices, computing labs, and public spaces either at floor-level on walls, or in floorboxes. No particular configuration pattern has been applied to any group of network ports: each network port in any group is individually configured to be on an appropriate VLAN.

You can find out which VLAN any particular port is currently configured to be on by using the search facility on our Appleton Tower network monitoring page: just enter the label of the port (e.g. 5/207) in the 'Room number or outlet label' search box.

It's possible to list all configured ports which are located in a particular room using the same search box - e.g. enter 5.01 to list all ports located in room AT-5.01.
